
‘Black house’ spider found in Black House

A black house spider is being hunted by the police in Kerala’s Kerala State, the police said on Monday.
The Kerala Police said that a person had reported a spider on their property in Alagaon area, about 50 km (30 miles) from here.
The spider was found about 100 metres (yards) from their house.
The police have registered a case under the Wildlife (Wildlife Preservation) Act and are looking for a hunter to identify the spider, the news agency quoted a spokesperson as saying.
Kerala has a population of about 2.5 million people.
