The House of Cards: ‘House of Cards’ star Matt Ryan and the team that made ‘House Party Movie’ look simple
The House Of Cards stars Matt Ryan, Ed Begley Jr., David Cross and Scott Baio in the new Netflix original movie about a family of criminals that takes place in the fictional town of West Virginia.
The new movie, produced by Universal Pictures and starring Ryan, is set to debut on Netflix on June 15, 2019.
It will be a Netflix original series.
Ryan, who stars as “House of Card” star and West Virginia native Ed Beglebio, said that he and the rest of the cast, which also includes Cross, Baio and a woman named Nancy, were looking for a different way to make the movie.
“I’ve been waiting to see how we could tell a story that was not necessarily one-sided and that could be enjoyed by anyone, but was more of a true-to-life story,” he told USA Today.
The movie’s plot revolves around a family’s criminal past that eventually gets swept under the rug when they move to a new city.
It was created by Universal Studios’ Mark Burnett.
The Netflix Original Series will also feature new cast members including Rachael Taylor and Laura Bailey, who also appeared in Netflix’s first original series, “Black-ish.”
The cast and crew of “House Of Cards” are set to make an appearance in the film, along with the cast and creators of “The Big Bang Theory,” who will also be featured.
